Upon graduating from The Pennsylvania State University, Patrick began his career as a Mechanical Designer with a specialization in energy efficiency and sustainability. His involvement with commercial projects spanned from higher education to commercial offices and data centers. In addition to assisting with the design of efficient HVAC systems, he managed LEED projects, developed energy models, and ensured code compliance. Additionally, Patrick has participated in extensive document reviews, construction monitoring reports, and property condition assessments across the country. These projects have given him a unique perspective from both architectural and engineering standpoints, enabling effective integration between disciplines for the benefit of clients.
Patrick joined H4 Engineers in early 2016 and takes great pride in providing clients with solutions to their mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design needs. His goal is to exceed expectations on every project to produce efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality results. Patrick is currently pursuing his professional engineering license and certified energy manager accreditation. A former ASHRAE Vice-President for the Anthracite Chapter in northeastern Pennsylvania, he also understands the importance of staying connected with the industry to further add value to H4 Engineers’ designs.
Outside of the office, Patrick enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, and performing as an Irish fiddler and bagpiper.
