After graduating Cum Laude from University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Sherie began her career in the construction industry as a plumbing engineer. She soon broadened her experience to include fire protection and HVAC. Since then her responsibilities have expanded to include electrical engineering, project management, construction administration, and sustainable design.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Sherie is committed to being a team player, accomplishing a common goal, and ensuring project success. Her extensive knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and sustainable design make for a well-coordinated product. Sherie prides herself in ensuring open and constant communication with her team and clients.

Sherie’s desire to continue to learn led her to achieve LEED AP and ASHRAE HBDP. She has provided LEED documentation and energy modeling for many notable projects including Rice University’s Duncan and McMurtry Colleges, as well as the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum. Sherie’s passion for sustainability has been applied beyond designing projects and incorporated into her office, community, and personal environments where her interest all began.

Sherie has worked on projects of various size and scope including AD Players Performing Arts Center, KIPP Pleasant Grove, and Rainey St Condos.

Sherie is also an active member in her community. She mentors and provides internship opportunities for high school engineering students, and is a member of Toastmasters.

When Sherie is not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family, woodworking, and art projects.
