H4 Architects and Engineers provides full service architectural and MEP engineering.  We are with you every step of the way.  We can tailor our services to fit your needs and your budget.  We are located in Spring, Texas and have worked throughout Texas and beyond.  We are licensed in multiple states.

We provide architectural design services for residential and commercial projects.  We work closely with each client and approach a project as those it was our own. We consider design options as well as construction options.  

 

 

We provide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for projects of varying scope and size. We engineer each project using best sustainable practices.  We consider first cost as well as operating cost.

 

 

We work with our H4 team of experienced individuals as well as other engineers (structural and civil) and other consultants (geotech, surveyor, acoustical, etc) as needed.

 

Maintaining effective and ongoing communication within our team including our client is one of our highest priorities. It enables us to plan, adapt, and make decisions for the most cost-effective, visually-appealing, and energy efficient designs. Our principals are involved every step of the way.

Design: There are many steps in the design process.

  1. We meet with you to develop the scope of the project evaluating any site or budget constraints. 
  2. We perform preliminary code research and discuss any issues that might impact the design and/or budget. 
  3. We further discuss design options for space planning and begin developing floor plans. 
  4. Once the floor plans are developed we begin to refine the plans and work on details along with finishes. 
  5. Preliminary budgets can be developed along the way.

 

Construction Documents: Once you approve the design, we work to transform the design into a detailed set of plans used for permitting and construction. The contractor will establish actual construction cost. 

 

Construction Administration: The contractor will physically build your project, however, we can assist you with making sure the project is built according to plans and keeping you informed.  We can answer questions that arise during construction, review submittals, and perform construction site observation visits with reports. The contractor is soley responsible for construction methods, techniques, schedules, and procedures.
